PREPARATION FOR CT SCANNING

Are you currently taking Glucophage, Glucovance, Metformin or any other oral medication for diabetes? If yes, that medication must be discontinued for two days after this exam. If this conflicts with your scheduled appointment date, please call Fairview Ridges Radiology at 952-892-2045 for possible rescheduling.

  1. Nothing else to drink two (2) hours prior to the exam.
  2. Mixture is 5cc (1tsp) gastroview to 24 oz. of water or clear juice (such as apple, cranberry, grape. No orange juice and no soda).
  3. Take two (2) 8oz cups at : ____________________ (two hours before)
  4. Take one (1) 8oz cup at: _________________(one hour before).
